Paddington Dual Bathrooms
PROJECT SCOPE

This project is a testament to what can be achieved with thoughtful and careful planning. The existing space was a three-zone bathroom with pocket doors dividing the shower, toilet and vanity. The brief was to create two separate bathrooms; one ensuite and one guest bathroom with plenty of storage and practicality. The outcome is two contemporary and luxurious feeling spaces with room to move and a place for everything.

GUEST BATHROOM

Certainly not an afterthought, the guest bathroom in the home provides a calm and tranquil place to shower and prepare for the day ahead. Generous storage in the form of a 1050mm wall-hung vanity and shaving cabinet means surfaces can remain clear of clutter. The shower shelf is a functional and practical way to keep toiletries within reach when a niche isn’t possible, and the clear glazing of the shower door and additional recessed LED lights along two of the walls give the illusion of space and light leaking through from above.

ENSUITE AMENITIES

A new pocket door was added to the walk-in robe to make accessing the ensuite possible and create an easy-to-access space that features a Bette titanium tub, secondary toilet and ample storage for daily used items. A cohesive and simple palette was used to create a feeling of space and luxury. The indirect LED lighting grazes the textural porcelain tiles revealing a beautiful stone like finish.
